IBSWLG PDP Stakeholders Meeting Convenes, Reaffirms Support for Governor Makinde … Will set up screening committee and communicate screening dates to the aspirants

Key stakeholders of Ibadan South West Local Government convened a meeting, reaffirming their support for Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration. The gathering, which included Arole Iba Oloye Nureni Akanbi, Chairman of the council, Honourable Kehinde Akande, Dr. Nureni Adeniran, Mama Kikelomo Sogbesan Iya Mukeso, Assistant Secretary Oyo PDP, and Pastor Biodun Popoola, where they discussed strategies for strengthening party unity and progress in the local government area.

The stakeholders noted that the meeting was called as part of an agreement among state leaders to hold party meetings at the party office or local government council. This decision aims to enhance party unity and streamline communication, ensuring that all members are informed and aligned with the party’s objectives.

Regarding the upcoming screening, they announced that the screening committee has not been constituted yet, but a date for the screening will be communicated soon. The stakeholders emphasized the importance of this process in ensuring that the party presents a strong and united front.

Mama Kikelomo Sogbesan Iya Mukeso, a respected party stalwart, offered heartfelt prayers for the party’s success and the well-being of its members. She invoked blessings and guidance for the leadership, seeking unity and strength for the party as it moves forward.

Dr. Nureni Adeniran emphasized that party supremacy is sacrosanct, urging members to remain fearless and committed to the party’s goals. He encouraged members to work together, putting aside personal interests for the greater good of the party and the community.

Arole Iba Oloye Nureni Akanbi commended party members for their loyalty and encouraged them to trust Governor Makinde’s leadership, assuring them of a bright future under his administration. He highlighted the governor’s commitment to the development of Oyo State and urged members to support his initiatives.

Chairman Honourable Kehinde Akande assured the members of inclusiveness in the party’s decision-making processes and reiterated the government’s support for their efforts. He emphasized that every member’s voice matters and encouraged active participation in party activities.

The meeting was seen as a boost to party morale, with attendees expressing optimism about the future of the party in Ibadan South West Local Government.

The meeting has Local Governor Executives, Ward Executives , Councillors , Supervisory Councillors , Special Assistants, Party Leaders and Members. The meeting attendees assured party members of their collective commitment to supporting Governor Makinde’s initiatives, emphasizing the importance of solidarity in achieving the administration’s goals, including the success of Omituntun 3.0 in Oyo State.
