IBSE 2 Agog As Oyo Lawmaker,Olayinka Omikunle Role Out His First #1.2million Monthly Stipends For Party Faithfuls

In fulfilment of his monthly stipends promise made to the members of the Peoples Democracy Party in Ibadan South East constituency 2, Hon.Olayinka Omikunle, has commence the disbursement with the people of ward 11.

The #20,000 monthly stipends for each member of the party has just started in ward 11, which happen to be the ward of the lawmaker during the meeting on Friday .

The disbursement exercise which was led by the party chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government ,Engr. Ismail Adesina and some notable stakeholders including the local and ward executive of the party and some political appointees from the same ward.

Hon.Omikunle who said, he deliberately started this project from ward 11 area while he promised that the disbursement will spread across all the Six wards of his constituency.

Hon.Olayinka Omikunle in a statement said the project came to his mind as a way of appreciating the member of the Peoples Democratic Party, in appreciation of their unwavering support during and after the 2023 general election

Engr.Ismail Adesina, popularly called world best during the disbursement exercise called on all the beneficiaries to make use of the money given to them by adding it to there businesses as no amount of money is too small during this trying time of our nation.

He therefore appreciate Hon.Olayinka Omikunle, leadership style as he described him as a true lover of his people and a humanitarian of notes,

He called on other political office holders and appointees to emulate the lawmaker and ensure they are giving back to their respective wards and local government as this is the only way our people can enjoy the dividend of democracy.

The beneficiaries in their separate remarks, appreciate Hon.Olayinka Omikunle for reaching out to them at this trying time. While they also maintain that the stipends giving to them will go a long ways to support their various businesses.

Meanwhile, the lawmaker has promise to continue with monthly stipends for the members of the party as this will surely give them an assurance that I’am holding them close to my minds.
