IB’North Council Chairman, Olufade Redeems Pledge, Hands Over Generator To NYCN Oyo State Chapter* 

In another bold demonstration of his unwavering commitment to youth development and responsive governance, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has fulfilled his promise to the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Oyo State Chapter, by handing over a brand-new generating set to support the council’s activities.

The generating set was officially presented on behalf of the Executive Chairman by the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Deacon Olabode, in his office at the council secretariat.

Speaking during the handover, Deacon Olabode described Hon. Olufade as a youth-friendly administrator and “a chairman who never jokes with his words.”

He noted that the gesture reflected the chairman’s consistent tradition of honoring commitments, especially those targeted at empowering young people across Ibadan North.

“Hon. Olufade directed the management to immediately hand over the generating set to the leadership of NYCN Oyo State.

As a man who always fulfills his promises, this is yet another testament to his sincerity and genuine passion for youth development,” he said.

He further emphasized that it was symbolic and fortunate that the NYCN Oyo State Secretariat is located within Ibadan North Local Government, assuring them that the Olufade-led administration will continue to extend hands of fellowship not only to the youth constituency, but also to other critical groups within the local government.

Receiving the generating set, the Chairman of NYCN Oyo State Chapter, Comrade Emilia Alex Oluwatimilehin, expressed profound appreciation to Hon. Olufade.

He described the council boss as a “talk-and-do chairman” whose leadership style has consistently distinguished him across the state.

He noted that Hon. Olufade represents the true model of credible youth participation in governance, adding that the NYCN will continue to support his administration wholeheartedly.

“Hon. Olufade continues to set examples for others to follow. He is a perfect representation of what credible youth leadership should be. On behalf of the entire youth constituency in Oyo State, we say thank you for redeeming this pledge.

We assure you that anytime you call on us, we will always be there,” Comrade Emilia said.
