Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has sympathized with the owner and entire staff of Fresh 105.9 FM Ibadan over the fire incident that gutted the outfit last Friday.

Fresh 105.9 FM, a radio station owned by gospel musician Dr. Yinka Ayefele in the Oyo State capital, Ibadan, was reportedly gutted by fire on Friday, August 15, 2025.
Expressing his sympathy to Dr. Ayefele on Sunday, August 17, 2025, Hon. Adepoju described the incident as devastating and highly regrettable.

“My thoughts are with the owner and entire management of Fresh 105.9 FM over the unfortunate fire incident that ravaged Fresh 105.9 FM on Friday.

“The award-winning Fresh FM has, over the years, provided job opportunities to teeming youths in Oyo State and it has also been a vital part of the southwestern media landscape, promoting good governance, local content, entertainment and more.
“It is my heartfelt prayer that this incident will never befall the establishment again,” Hon. Adepoju wished.
The lawmaker also seized the moment to sympathize with his brother and friend at the radio station, Mayor Isaac Brown, who is the anchor of Political Circuit on Fresh, praying to God to continue to protect the station, its entire management and crew members.
