Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluwaseyi Makinde, on the first anniversary of his second term in office.

Celebrating the Governor on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, Hon. Adepoju expressed heartfelt gratitude to Engr. Makinde for shaping a brighter future where every citizen thrives and reaches their full potential.

The lawmaker noted that Governor Makinde’s impactful leadership has not only resulted in the development of Oyo State but has also made the state the most sought-after destination for investors. 

“To my leader, I am immensely grateful for your indefatigable efforts, undaunted zeal and visionary leadership in ensuring that Oyo State becomes developed, serene and tranquil for everyone to live in.

“Your leadership role and mentorship have been instrumental to all the triumphs and accomplishments all of us around you have achieved on this political journey so far.

“As you celebrate the first anniversary of your second term as our Governor and, of course, your fifth year in office, I offer my warmest wishes for continued good health, wisdom and understanding. May these prayers and the aforementioned qualities guide you as you navigate the complexities of leadership and steer our beloved state towards a brighter future. Congratulations, and may your vision for our state continue to flourish,” Ibarapakan remarked.

The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character also expressed his gratitude to his constituents in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North for their continued support and contributions in actualizing the goal of Omituntun 2.0.

He said that with the support of the people, the present state government-led administration will continue to implement policies that enhance the quality of life and improve the human experience to new heights.
