Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has congratulated the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. (Dr.) Obafemi Ademola Ojo, on his honorary doctorate degree conferment.
Hon. Ojo was conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by the Chartered Institute of Public Administration and Governance (CIPAG) on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
In a congratulatory text made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital, Hon. Adepoju described the recognition as a befitting gesture and a demonstration of Hon. Ojo’s outstanding performance as a Commissioner under the Gov. Makinde-led administration.
According to the federal lawmaker, Hon. Ojo’s honorary doctorate degree is a celebration of his dedicated public service, deeply rooted in community progress and development.
He commended the former two-term Local Government Chairman of Ibarapa Central for his dedication and service to the people of Oyo State, stating that his honorary doctorate degree is proof of his hard work and commitment to excellence.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character expressed his best wishes for the Ibarapa-born politician and prayed that God would continue to guide and bless him in all his endeavors.
