Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has congratulated the Olubadan-designate, Oba Adewolu Rashidi Ladoja, on the occasion of his 81st birthday.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, on Thursday, through his spokesperson, Hassan Adesodi Olaoniye, Hon. Adepoju described Oba Ladoja as a personification of patience, humility and exemplary public service.
According to the federal lawmaker, Oba Ladoja has been a man of distinction and integrity in every endeavour he has ventured into since birth, from education to business, politics and now royalty.
The Ibarapa-born technocrat cum politician expressed that the life of Oba Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, is a symbol of “Only God gives power and He does it as He pleases and according to His will.”
He appreciated the elder statesman, who is also a former senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for his guidance and wise counsel, which he said had shaped his political journey and public administration since knowing him.
Hon. Adepoju also prayed for renewed strength and a life filled with longevity and good health as Oba Ladoja ascends the throne of his forefathers as the Olubadan of Ibadan Land tomorrow, describing his life as one ordained by God Almighty to rule.
