‎The Executive Chairman, Ibarapa North Local Government Council, Hon. Lawal Lateef Adebare, convened a Security Council Meeting. The meeting brought together security agencies, traditional rulers across Ibarapa North, and community leaders to review security strategies, address emerging challenges, and reinforce collaboration for peace and stability.

‎In his opening address, the Chairman of the Local Government Area, Hon. Lawal Lateef Adebare thanked the security agencies, royal fathers and community leaders for their commitment to a peaceful and safe Ibarapa North.
‎
‎His words: “Let me thank our security agencies, royal fathers, and community leaders in the Local Government for their cooperation and commitment towards a peaceful and secured Ibarapa North. Your support has made my job easier and I want to assure you of my commitment to ensuring that criminality doesn’t raise its ugly head in the Local Government Area.
‎
‎I want to also express my appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State for his support to our Local Government Area to keep our people safe. His disposition to the welfare of our people has also reduced criminality at the grassroots.”
‎
‎The Executive Chairman said his administration would leave no stone unturned to ensure the security of lives and property in Ibarapa North.
‎
‎Speaking on behalf of the traditional rulers, HRM Oba Rafiu Ariwoola commended the Council Chairman for his commitment to security. He said the traditional council is also committed to ensuring security in their domains, assuring the Chairman that the royal fathers would continue to cooperate with him to keep the Local Government safe.
‎
‎The local government chairman also unveiled the newly recruited vigilantes and urged them to work with other security agencies in Ibarapa North to enhance security.
‎
‎After the meeting, the council chairman donated communication equipment to the newly recruited Ibarapa North Vigilantes. The Chairman said the donation of communication equipment and the refurbishment of the police patrol vehicle at Ayete Division was another symbolic representation of his administration’s commitment.
