The Ibarapa North PDP Elders Forum, local executives, and political functionaries, led by Hon Lateef Akorede, Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North, paid a condolence visit to Hon. Anthony Adepoju, Member representing Ibarapa North/Central Federal Constituency, following the passing of his father, Dr. Amos Adepoju.

During the visit to Hon. Anthony Adepoju’s Ibadan residence, Hon. Akorede described Dr. Amos’ death as a monumental loss, not only to Igboora but also to Ibarapa and Oyo State at large.
He noted that the entire Ibarapa community felt deeply affected by his demise and that Dr. Amos’ legacy would forever be cherished.

Hon. Akorede further eulogized Dr. Amos as a paragon of honour and integrity, highlighting that the deceased lived a simple life and was deeply committed to the unity of Igboora and Ibarapa.


One of the esteemed elders, in his remarks, urged Hon. Anthony Adepoju and the family to draw strength from the legacy of service, dedication, and honour their late father embodied.
He described Dr. Amos as a shining example of selfless service, encouraging family members and sympathizers to emulate his life of giving to the community and humanity.
The delegation concluded the visit by offering heartfelt prayers for the repose of the late patriarch’s soul, beseeching Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
