The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has lauded the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for naming the estate located at the former Trans Amusement Park after Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, the late Federal House of Representatives member who represented Ibadan North Federal Constituency before his demise.

In his appreciation, made available through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade stated, “Naming the estate after Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban will remain indelible in the memory of the good people of Ibadan North and Oyo State at large, transcending political affiliations.”

“As the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for his remarkable decision to name the new estate at Samonda, located at the former Trans Amusement Park, after the late Hon. This estate will henceforth be known as the Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban Estate, a tribute announced by the Governor during the Firdaus prayer yesterday.

Governor Seyi Makinde’s actions exemplify how to place humanity above politics, serving as a role model for us all. His unwavering commitment to humanitarian gestures continues to inspire and amaze us. Naming the estate after Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban will remain indelible in the memory of the good people of Ibadan North and Oyo State at large, transcending political affiliations.

I also wish to express my gratitude to the Islamic clerics who conducted the 8-day Firdaus prayer for Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, as well as the Federal House of Representatives members, both former and new, Oyo House of Assembly members, local government chairmen and councilors, former and present appointees, members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressives Congress (APC), other political parties, and everyone who attended the Firdaus prayer.

Your presence demonstrated our unity in Ibadan North Local Government. I urge us all to maintain this unity in love and development, irrespective of our party differences.

May Governor Seyi Makinde continue to succeed in his endeavors, and may Allah, in His infinite mercy, grant Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban Aljanah Firdaus.”

Signed,
