The Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government Area, Hon. Akintayo, has joined numerous well-wishers to congratulate the Senior Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor on Special Duties, Chief Bayo Lawal on his 70th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued to journalists on Sunday, Hon. Akintayo described Chief Bayo Lawal as an iconic figure and a respected politician with selfless service.
The Chairman equally lauded Chief Bayo Lawal’s contributions to the government of Governor Seyi Makinde, aimed at driving development of the state, noting that he is a “good partner in progress.”
He also noted that Chief Lawal’s impact will be felt for generations to come as a result of his philosophy of integrity, quality leadership and excellence.
The statement read, “Today, I want to celebrate my political father, who is well respected home and abroad, a committed leader who has spent his life serving our great state, Chief Bayo Lawal.
“As we celebrate his milestone 70th birthday, I want to say that I do not only appreciate Chief Bayo Lawal’s but also his legacy of service, integrity, and leadership.”
Chairman Akintayo, however, prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for Chief Bayo Lawal.
