The Oyo state commissioner for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, Hon. Akin Funmilayo Williams, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde after receiving the 2023 Nigerian Leadership Awards (NLA).

Makinde was conferred with the award at the 15th edition of Nigerian Leadership Awards 2023 for his Long and Outstanding Contribution to humanity and public service.

Congratulating the governor, Akin Funmilayo describes the governor as a limited edition public servant, whose reflection of unprecedented leadership roles has catapulted the state to the global stage, acknowledging Governor Makinde’s effort and commitment to the delivery of Good governance.

Akin Funmilayo said; “I congratulate His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde our very own limited edition public servant,  whose commitment to a greater Oyo state is contagious.

“No doubt it clear the state is where it is today with his trans-generational leadership traits, His Excellency, Governor Makinde, has been a dedicated public servant not to Oyo state but as a nationalist who has built bridges for developments in all sectors of governance through the creation of opportunity for all and sundry”. Hon. Commissioner said.
