Hon. Wale Canada Commends Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin for Distinguished Service as Chairman, Conference of Speakers

Hon. Saminu Rilwan Gbadamosi, popularly known as Wale Canada, member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency, has felicitated with Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin on the successful completion of his tenure as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.

In a statement released today through his office, Hon. Canada described Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin’s leadership at the helm of the Conference as exemplary and impactful, noting that his service has brought honour not only to Oyo State but to the country’s legislative landscape as a whole.

“We celebrate a dear friend, colleague and visionary leader whose tenure as Chairman has reflected uncommon dedication, integrity and a commitment to strengthening democratic governance at the sub-national level,” Canada said.

He further commended the outgoing Chairman for promoting legislative autonomy, fostering inter-governmental collaboration, and championing important policy priorities that advanced the interests of state legislatures nationwide.

Hon. Canada’s statement also acknowledged the support of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State and beyond, highlighting that the achievements recorded during Rt. Hon.
