HON. SIKIRU OYEDELE SANDA FELICITATES MUSLIM UMMAH ON HIJRAH CELEBRATION

Egbeda Local Government, Ibadan – Hon. Sikiru Oyedele Sanda, Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, extends warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Egbeda and around the world on the celebration of the Hijrah, marking the beginning of the Islamic New Year.

As we commemorate the historic migration of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from Mecca to Medina, we are reminded of the values of courage, perseverance, and faith. May this occasion inspire us to strive for a better future, guided by the principles of peace, justice, and compassion.

I urge all Muslims to embrace the spirit of Hijrah, which symbolizes a new beginning and a chance to renew our commitment to our faith and our community. Let us continue to promote harmony, understanding, and unity among all people, regardless of their background or beliefs.

As we celebrate this significant event, I advise all Muslims to remain steadfast in their devotion, steadfast in their pursuit of knowledge, and steadfast in their service to humanity.
