The Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, who also holds the traditional title of Parakoyi of Ido, has once again demonstrated strong grassroots leadership with another year marked by impactful development across the local government.

Residents and stakeholders have lauded his administration for the steady transformation witnessed in several communities under his watch. From improved infrastructure to enhanced security, Hon. Adeojo’s tenure continues to reflect a deep commitment to the progress and welfare of the people of Ido.

Communities that had long struggled with access to clean water are now experiencing relief, following the installation of solar-powered boreholes. This intervention has been described as a game-changer, particularly for rural dwellers who previously relied on distant and often unsafe water sources.

In addition to tackling water scarcity, the chairman’s administration has made notable progress in the rehabilitation of key roads within the local government. Commuters and traders say these improvements have eased transportation challenges and opened up access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities.

Equally transformative is the recent installation of solar streetlights in several communities. Local residents say the solar lights have improved security and allowed for safer movement at night, while also supporting small businesses that operate during evening hours.

Hon. Adeojo has also provided financial support and donations to encourage local development initiatives. His administration has worked closely with community leaders, youth groups, and women associations to drive grassroots empowerment.

Security has remained a top priority for the chairman, who has strengthened local enforcement through logistical support and closer collaboration with security agencies. These efforts have contributed to a decline in reported incidents and a greater sense of safety among residents.

Recognizing the importance of stable electricity to both households and businesses, Hon. Adeojo recently facilitated the donation of electrical transformer to key areas in the local government. This move has been widely praised for its role in boosting power supply and economic activity.

With these achievements, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has continued to set a high standard for local governance. As the Parakoyi of Ido and a public servant, his leadership style has blended traditional responsibility with modern administration, earning him the trust and admiration of the people he serves.

Observers and constituents alike express optimism that under his guidance, Ido Local Government will continue to experience sustainable growth and inclusive development in the years to come.
