Hon. Sheriff Adeojo Commends Gov. Makinde on Successful Oyo at 50 Anniversary, Congratulates Indigenes

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has extended heartfelt commendations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, for the resounding success of the just-concluded Oyo at 50 anniversary celebrations.

In a statement issued today, Hon. Sheriff praised the governor’s visionary leadership and commitment to showcasing Oyo State’s rich cultural heritage, economic potential, and unity during the golden jubilee events. “The Oyo at 50 anniversary was a masterful display of our state’s resilience and progress under Governor Makinde’s administration,” he said. “From the grand parades to the insightful forums, every aspect reflected the Pacesetter State’s enduring spirit and forward momentum.You made our great party proud by commissioning the newly built PDP party house in commemoration of Oyo State at 50.”

The chairman also seized the opportunity to congratulate the sons and daughters of Oyo State, both at home and in the diaspora, for their unwavering contributions to the state’s development and global reputation. “To our illustrious indigenes worldwide, your achievements bring pride to Oyo. Whether building businesses in Lagos, leading innovations in Abuja, or excelling abroad, you embody the Oyo excellence that marked our 50th milestone.” Chairman stated.

Hon. Sheriff Adeojo further prayed for continued peace, prosperity, and divine guidance for Oyo State. “May Almighty God bless Oyo State with abundant rain, bumper harvests, unity among our people, and leaders of integrity. Let our Pacesetter State continue to lead Nigeria to greater heights.”

He finally called on all residents to sustain the anniversary’s momentum through active participation in state development initiatives.
