The Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele has expressed his condolences over the passing of renowned PDP chieftain, former PDP Deputy National Chairman, Alhaji Chief Yekinni Adeojo who passed away in the early hours of Friday at his residence in the Iyaganku Government Reserved Area of Ibadan, the Oyo State.

Alhaji Adeojo who held the revered traditional title of Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland.
Hon Sanda shared his sympathy with Oyo State PDP and the immediate family of the Late Adeojo particularly his son, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the current serving Executive Chairman of Ido local government.

He said, Chief Yekinni Adeojo lived a fulfilled life devoted to the service of Allah, humanity and the nation.

He also described the Late statesman as a beacon of wisdom and political Colossus, who impacted many lives positively across religious and political divides.

The chairman urged people to emulate the values Chief Adeojo upheld during his lifetime, saying” Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland legacy will continue to inspire generations. Let us honour his memory by approximating the virtues he exemplified”.
“I pray that Almighty Allah receive the soul of the departed statesman and comfort his family ” He said.
