

Residents of Adabi area in Ward 11, Egbeda Local Government have expressed joy and appreciation as the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele officially commissioned a newly constructed pedestrian bridge in the community.

The project, facilitated under the leadership of the council boss, is aimed at improving the safety and ease of movement for residents, especially school children, traders, and commuters who ply the route daily.



Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Sanda reiterated his administration’s commitment to people-oriented projects that directly impact the welfare and wellbeing of the people of Egbeda Local Government. He noted that the pedestrian bridge will significantly reduce the risks faced by residents crossing the area, particularly during the rainy season when the route becomes difficult to navigate.

The Chairman emphasized that his government remains focused on needs assessments and infrastructural development across all wards, ensuring that communities enjoy safer and more accessible environments.

Community leaders and residents of Adabi commended Hon. Sanda for the timely intervention, describing the project as a clear demonstration of responsive and impactful leadership.
