Hon Ramata Salutes Agboworin Over Mega Empowerment For Traders, Artisans*
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ramata Agberemi, popularly known as RAD, has extolled the lawmaker representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin) for the mega empowerment program organized for market traders, women’s and artisans in his constituency.
The lawmaker, who is also Chairman of the House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, had, last week Saturday, empowered hundreds of traders drawn from 20 different markets in his constituency and artisan groups including that of Oje, Beere, Ilu tuntun, Oja’ba, South Camp, where over 600 traders and artisans across the state, Oyo benefitted.
RAD praised the lawmaker for thinking differently in bringing the dividends of democracy to his people.
She noted that the project was not only laudable but also magnificent and awesome, considering the number of beneficiaries and the amount given to each of them to improve their businesses and lives.
“Agboworin’s action was a courageous. He is a promise keeper, a great achiever, and a selfless leader. God Almighty will continue to bless him,” She stated.
