The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke has extended warm congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye Asoroolu Ayinla V, the Olu of Igbo-Ora on his appointment as the Deputy Chairmen of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs.

The appointment followed the formal inauguration of the reconstituted Council by the Oyo State Government where His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland was pronounced as Chairman of the Council on a rotational basis.
The historic inauguration ceremony performed by His Excellency, Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde on Thursday, January 15, 2026 officially marked the revival of the Council which had remained inactive since 2011.

Hon. Olusola Adeleke described the appointment of the Olu of Igbo-Ora as well-deserved recognition of his wisdom, leadership and enduring contributions to traditional governance and community development.


Hon. Adeleke also commended Governor Engr Seyi Makinde for the successful reactivation of the Council, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening collaboration between government and traditional authorities in advancing sustainable development across Oyo State.
He concluded by praying for divine guidance, good health and continued wisdom for His Royal Majesty as he undertakes this new responsibility in service to the state and the people.
