Hon Olusina Ogunsola Commends Makinde on Peaceful Conduct of Party State Congress

Hopefully House of the Representative Oluyole constituency 2027 Hon Olusina John Ogunsola, has commended the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, over the peaceful conduct of the 2025 Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Congress, which produced new executives of the party.

Ogunsola who was also a delegate at the peaceful election held at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan, on Monday, September 30, 2025, cast his vote alongside other party delegates from Ibarapa Central Local Government Area.

He attributed the success of the congress to the leadership style of Gov. Makinde and the respect for due process that characterises the PDP in Oyo State.

According to Hon. Ogunsola, the outcome of the party congress, without any form of crisis, is an indication that the PDP will continue to be in power even beyond 2031, as he lauded the wisdom of his leader and mentor, Gov. Makinde, for stabilising the party throughout the state.

He expressed that the party held its local congress across all local government areas in the state without any form of disruption in the process, a sign he said symbolises unity and common ground among all members of the party.

Ogunsola, however, enjoined the new party executives to work assiduously to ensure the victory of the PDP in all elections.
