The Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Akinsete Olakunle, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South-West Local Government, Hon. Kehinde Adeyemi Akande, popularly known as Eletu 1, on the occasion of his one year in office in his second term and four years of transformative leadership in the council.

In a statement issued in Ibadan, Hon. Akinsete expressed profound pride and joy in celebrating the achievements of Hon. Akande, describing him as a visionary leader and a true embodiment of grassroots development.
“As a proud indigene of Ibadan South-West, I am elated to identify with and celebrate Hon. Kehinde Akande.

His leadership has brought visible and lasting change to our local government,” Akinsete stated.

He commended Akande’s administration for its unwavering commitment to infrastructural renewal, improved healthcare services, empowerment programs for women and youths, and strengthened security across the council area.

The Special Adviser also hailed Akande’s recent election as Chairman of the Ibadan Local Governments Properties Company, a real estate venture jointly owned by all LGs and LCDAs in Ibadan. Akande clinched the position with 16 out of 17 votes from fellow chairmen—a testament, according to Akinsete, to his “trusted capacity, integrity, and sterling leadership qualities.”
“His collaborative approach to governance and focus on sustainable development has earned him the admiration of stakeholders and citizens alike.

I have no doubt that Ibadan South-West will continue to witness even greater progress under his leadership,” he added.
Hon. Akinsete concluded his message by praying for continued divine guidance and strength for Hon. Akande, urging him to remain steadfast in his mission to take Ibadan South-West to enviable heights.
