As the Muslim community commemorates the start of the new Islamic year, 1446 AH, Honourable Kehinde Akande, Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, has encouraged Muslims in his jurisdiction to persist in their quest for virtue and righteousness.
In his Hijrah message, Honourable Akande emphasized the importance of emulating the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) migration from Mecca to Medina, which symbolizes the quest for a better life and a commitment to righteousness.
