As Muslims worldwide celebrate the Hijrah 1446, Alhaja Kafilat Olayiwola Ajeiya former Commissioner of Women Affairs and currently serves as the Director representing Oyo South on the OYSTROMA board, has urged Muslims to emulate the exemplary character of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In a statement made available to media, Alhaja Kafilat Omolabake Olayiwola emphasized the importance of adopting the Prophet’s virtues, such as honesty, compassion, and selflessness.
She noted that the Prophet’s character was a shining example for all humanity, and that by following his footsteps, Muslims can attain spiritual growth and success in this life and the hereafter.
The Ex commissioner also highlighted the significance of the Hijrah, which commemorates the Prophet’s migration from Mecca to Medina, and encouraged Muslims to seek knowledge, wisdom, and better opportunities, just as the Prophet did.
She also used the opportunity to keep promoting Islamic values and character development among young Muslims.
The Hijrah celebration serves as a reminder for Muslims to reflect on their faith, renew their commitment to Allah, and strive to become better individuals.
