HIJRAH 1446: IBADAN NORTH WEST COUNCIL BOSS CHARGES MUSLIMS TO EMULATE THE TEACHINGS OF HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMED.

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju has rejoiced with Muslims on the Hijrah 1446 celebrations with a charge to be more dedicated and committed to the teachings of Holy prophet Muhammed
(PBUH)as stated in the Holy Quran.

The words of admonition were contained in his Hijrah 1446 message to Muslim ummahs in Ibadan Northwest Local Government,
Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

According to the Council Boss, Hijrah is the migration of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and his companions from Mecca to Medina. It highlights the total submission of believers to the WILL of Almighty Allah as they left behind everything that was precious to them to propagate the essential Islamic system of life. He added that Islamic calendar contains several lessons and reminds us about the marvelous lessons from the life of the Holy prophet.

In the meantime, the Executive Chairman has enjoined Muslim faithfuls to be more steadfast in their spiritual activities like solat, zakat, sodaqoh, Tafsir etc as written in the Holy Quran and Hadith of Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). He further implored all and sundry as the new year begins,to pray fervently for harmonious and peaceful co-existence in the country during the present Administration.

Alh AbdulRahman Adepoju rejoiced with Muslim Ummahs for the uncommon favors to witness Hijrah 1446. He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant their desires in the new year and wished them a prosperous Hijrah 1446.
