The Lalupon Central Mosque today witnessed a grand occasion as Hajia Oluwatoyin Fatimoh Oyegbori-Oluwa a board member of Oyo state hajj commission was officially turbaned as the Iya Adinni of Lalupon Central mosque.
The prestigious ceremony, held in the serene environment of Central School Lalupon was a moment of joy and spiritual significance for the Muslim community in Lagelu local government area.
Among the dignitaries present at the occasion were Hon. Lafioye Lagelu/Akinleye Rep member, Hon. Olajide Akintunde AKT Lagelu OYHA member, Chairmen of Lagelu and Akinyele Local Government Areas, Hon. RAD, Dr. Abiodun Rauf, Baba Gold, Hon, Adegoke Tiwa ni Ibadan, Hon. Okeyode, Mrs Okeyode, Traditional Rulers, Lalupon club 25, Onilalupon of Lalupon,
political big wig, PDP stakeholders in Lagelu Their presence added political significance to the event, underscoring the importance of religious harmony and community support.
The ceremony was also graced by the Grand Imam of Lagelu LG, Imam Omituntun, Aare musulumi of Lalupon, all Islamic clerics in Lagelu whom all played a pivotal role in the turbaning rites , delivering a profound message on the responsibilities attached to the title of Iya Adinni.
His sermon emphasized the need for commitment, leadership, and service to the Muslim Ummah.
Hon. Adeaga, known for his unwavering support for grassroots development, and the State Women Leader, a champion of women’s empowerment and participation, were also in attendance. Their presence highlighted the growing inclusivity of women in community and religious leadership.
The turbaning of Hajia Oluwatoyin Fatimoh marks a significant milestone, as she takes on her new role as the Iya Adinni, a position that embodies spiritual leadership, mentorship, and service to the Muslim community.

In her acceptance speech, Hajia Oluwatoyin Fatimoh expressed gratitude to Allah for the honor and pledged her commitment to promoting the values of Islam, fostering unity, and supporting developmental initiatives within the community,
she however appreciate Gov. Seyi Makinde for giving her the opportunity to serve as borad member in the hajj commission.
