A generation,if they are fortunate,are availed the gift of a Charismatic,Servant Leader by fate,one whose singular driving motivation for entering into the political field of play is to improve the quality of lives lived by their people through People Centric policies and interventions

In the past generation,one such outstanding transformational leader that stands out from the pack was the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo of blessed memory.This is one leader who the entire black race,not just Nigerians mourned,stood up and took notice of his passing,whose indelible footprints are written in the annals of time,whose populist and unmatched credentials so far,no leader had been able to measure up to,until now

It appears that fate has again smiled,not just on Oyo State,the South West,Southern Nigeria but on Nigeria,the most populous black nation as a whole,by gifting us with yet another transformational leader in the mould of the famed Awolowo of yore

With his ambitious but transformative Circular Road project,visionary ken in linking up all the zones of the state,dry port project,initiatives to empower the state to be able to independently generate power which is a key driver of economic growth,reguvenation of the agricultural sector in the state amongst numerous other strategic,creative & innovative solutions to the myriads of problems that bedevil our economic landscape which had hitherto limited the scope of development in the state,Governor Makinde has been able to carve a niche for himself as a visionary leader who is light years ahead of his peers

Today,I celebrate not just my Principal ; His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde for a worthy and well deserved recognition indeed,I celebrate the womb that bore him,the graceful presence that walks by his side,supporting him at every turn on his life trajectory,applaud the good judgement displayed by Leadership newspapers for aligning with popular opinion and most of all,I am greatlful to fate,which has gifted my generation with a Star sent from the celestial plane to light up all our paths

The last has not been heard about the transformative exploits of this God Sent Man

The fates are taking him even higher in order to give him a bigger platform to impact even more positively on the lives of our people
