Gbolarumi Congratulates Aare Dawud Makanjuola on his award as Grand Commander of Ibadan Culture, says honour well-deserved

The former deputy Governor and PDP Chieftain in Oyo State, His Excellency Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi has congratulated the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Otunba Parakoyi of Osogboland and Aare of Ibadanland, Alhaji Chief (Dr.) Dawud Makanjuola Akinola (DeDamak) for his conferment as the Grand Commander of Ibadan Culture (GCIC) and Most Patriotic Ibadan Indigenes (MPII).

This was contained in a congratulatory message personally issued, signed and made available to Journalists by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Olaniyi Stephen in Ibadan, today Sunday 26 June, 2024.

Gbolarumi described the award as well deserved and rewards for his commitment of human upliftment, which has made him the pride of Ibadan Land, he prayed that Almighty Allah will continue to multiply his blessing.

He said the award of Grand Commander of Ibadan Culture (GCIC) and Most Patriotic Ibadan Indigenes (MPII) which means a lot in the local language, exemplifies the type of person he is and that the title is well deserved.

He said the award has proven to the world that there is dignity in labour adding that he has washed his hands clean and that is why he can now wine and dine with the elders.

Gbolarumi said that he is not also surprised that he was recognised by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) because he has been contributing to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria over the years.

Gbolarumi wish him well in his journey of life, he appealed to him not to relent in his well doings, noting that, that is the only way to make the society a better place for everyone to live in.
