As I reflect on my journey in politics, I am filled with gratitude and a profound sense of indebtedness to my party, the Oyo State APC, and its exceptional leaders. My political path has been both challenging and rewarding, driving me to this moment where I stand as the Deputy State Woman Leader of APC at the age of 33.
My political journey began at 24, shortly after completing my NYSC, when I was appointed Special Assistant on Student Affairs by the late His Excellency, Senator Abiola Ajimobi. This pivotal moment marked my entry into the world of practical politics. As a driven former student union leader, I dedicated myself to learning and serving the community, mobilizing young women in support of our great party through the APC Young Women Forum, where I proudly served as the Oyo State coordinator.

At 29, I made the decision to contest for the position of State Woman Leader of APC in Oyo State. Through extensive consultations and learning, I worked tirelessly to connect with the grassroots, ultimately emerging as the Senatorial Woman Leader of Oyo South—the most populous and strategic senatorial district in our state. Those four years deepened my understanding of grassroots politics as I collaborated closely with women across the nine local government areas.
Today, I am truly honored to take on the role of Deputy State Woman Leader of APC in Oyo State. My heart is filled with gratitude to my party and its leaders for providing me with the opportunity and supportive environment to learn, grow, and serve. Over the years, I have gained invaluable experience working on both national and state committees while nurturing young women within the party. These experiences have only strengthened my commitment to our party’s ideals and progress.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Ajimobi dynasty, which laid the groundwork for my journey in public service. To Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Fatima Florence Ajimobi, our Opomulero and mother, I pray for your continued happiness and good health. Your grace and strength have been pivotal in nurturing the legacy we hold dear.

It is also a privilege to serve alongside our State Woman Leader, Dr. Kemi Opatunde, a distinguished community relations expert and grassroots politician whose expert leadership has already set a high standard for us to follow. Together, we can achieve great things for the women of Oyo State.
To the women of Oyo State APC, this is a moment for renewed energy and purpose. We must demonstrate our strength, capacity, and unity. It is time to work toward an inclusive APC women’s wing where every voice matters. Our guiding principles will be unity and shared progress.

My gratitude to my party and its leaders is not merely in words; it will be reflected in my loyalty, dedication, and tireless service.

So help me God.
It is APC O’Clock — APC top to bottom.
