Letter of Gratitude

As I conclude my tenor as a special adviser (SA) to the Ido Local Government (LG), I owe gratitude to several people. First, I thank God Almighty for his grace through my time of Service and

I thank my father, Alhaji Chief Yekini Adeojo, for sacrificing so much for the great PDP on both State and Federal level and for setting the political foundation that I could now partake in. With extreme humility, I thank the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, for being one of the inspirations behind my desire to serve my great State, the Pace setter.

I thank my beloved Mother of blessed memory Late Mrs Rafiat Modupe Adeojo, to whom my love for charitable causes was birthed. Special Thanks to the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, for being one of the inspirations behind my interest in Politics.

My note of gratitude cannot be complete without appreciating many other major players such as the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for being highly patriotic by granting me the rare privilege to Serve my State; my family members and friends that played one part or the other to support me during my term; the PDP party chairman of Ido LG, Hon Akinsola Ayuba, the 10 arrow heads leaders, all leaders in Ido LG, the LG exco’s, my ward 10 leader, Leader Rasak Olatinwo Baba Elewedu for always supporting and having my back, all ward Councilors, the admin Staff of the council, the youth, my ward Chairman, Ward excos, zonal chairman, zonal excos, my community chairman and the excos, my good counsel from Ward 1- 10, I could go on and on.

My time as SA to the Ido LG Council was full of wisdom, excitement, and self-discovery. It revamped my patriotism for my State and country. It allowed me to meet rare mentors and form friendships in the process. I have been inspired and educated through it all.

I thank everyone in ward 10, for all the love, support, encouragement, understanding and the reception I received from you all. The love and acceptance from the people of Ido LG from ward 1 to 10 was heartwarming and very accepting, I am most grateful.

I do not take my time to serve Oyo State through Ido LG for granted, it’s been my greatest pleasure to have such a rare privilege to get to my home more, meet new fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers, I really couldn’t have asked for a more fulfilling time.

To my fellow SAs, I congratulate you all for finishing the race. It would have been a perfect story if Late Hon Badmus were here to celebrate with us, but may his gentle soul continue to rest in peace. I wish everyone the best in their future endeavors and ambitions, may we meet again.

In conclusion, It is my sincere desire that Ido LG council inspire to work together as a team, learn from the past and use that as a tool to rebuild the image of the LG and continue set standards tailored to serve the people, the community and to elevate the State.

I bid you farewell with love and till God sets our path on to meet again and to serve my LG and Oyo State again, Shalom and Masallam ????????
