First Lady, Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Inclusion Launch Renewed Hope Initiative of Her Excellency Remi Tinubu

On Monday the 18th of December,an epochal event was launched by the Mother General of Oyo State Women; Her Excellency Engr Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde .

Anchoring this strategic event were the First Lady of Oyo State: Her Excellency Engr Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde,the Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Inclusion Hon( Mrs) Toyin Balogun and the Senior Special Assistant to Her Excellency Miss Doyin.The wives of the 33 LG Chairmen were in attendance at the event.

The initiative tagged ; Renewed Hope Initiative ( RNI) is a Pet Project of Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu the First Lady of our dear Country .

This program was conceptualised by the First Lady Sen Tinubu as a Special Purpose Vehicle ( SPV) to combat poverty in the land by effectively empowering the family unit

This laudable goal is to be achieved through empowerment of women by utilising the following platforms:
Agriculture,Health,Economic Empowerment and Education

We are opportuned to have our amiable First Lady in Oyo State Her Excellency Tamunominini Makinde as the South West(Zonal Coordinator) for this initiative.

Monday’s event served a dual purpose:

1.Official flag off of the Renewed Hope Initiative( RHI) of the First Lady Senator Oluremi Makinde in Oyo State

2 The Inauguration of the wives of the 33 LG Chairmen’s wives in the state as the LG Coordinators of the Renewed Hope Initiative.

The wives of the LG Chairmen are to drive this initiative and drill it down to the grassroots at their various Local Governments
