Falana Leads King Zlo, Mix & Mic Battle C’ttee on Courtesy Visit to Commissioner for LG and Chieftaincy Matters, Ademola Ojo

In preparation for the highly anticipated Oyo Ultimate Showdown: The Mix & Mic Battle, entertainment personality, Mr Oluwatosin Odita (a.k.a King Zlo), on Wednesday, led the organizing committee, accompanied by the Chairman of Oyo State Agency for Youth Development Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana on a courtesy visit to the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Ojo.

The meeting follows the committee’s announcement on Tuesday, which formed part of ongoing engagements with key government stakeholders ahead of the state-backed entertainment showdown, expected to unite top talents from across Oyo and beyond.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Oyo State Agency for Youth Development Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana applauded the approval of the December Ultima showdown granted by the Oyo State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency Engr ‘Seyi Makinde, describing it as a timely boost for the upcoming event.

He introduced all the committee members led by Oluwatosin Odita (King Zlo) to the commissioner and called for necessary partnership and support as needs arise.

Speaking during the visit, Odita expressed appreciation to the Oyo State Government for its continuous support of the entertainment industry, noting that the Mix & Mic Battle would not only entertain but also create real opportunities for young creatives.

The event, proudly hosted by the Oyo State Government through the Agency for Youth Development, will feature an electrifying competition between DJs and Hypelords, two pillars of Nigeria’s nightlife and entertainment culture.

According to him, the high-stakes contest, the winning DJ will walk away with ₦5 million, while the top Hypelord will earn ₦2 million, as well as other prizes to be won making it one of the most rewarding entertainment competitions in the region.

Commissioner Ademola Ojo lauded the organizers for creating a platform that promotes youth engagement, skills development, and positive entertainment culture.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that empower young people and project Oyo State as a rising entertainment hub.

With excitement building and auditions already generating buzz online, the Oyo Ultimate Showdown: The Mix & Mic Battle is shaping up to become one of the standout entertainment events of the year.
