It is clearly now evidenced that Governor Seyi Makinde’s unprecedented stream of achievements , relentlessly coming in all areas of governance ,may not be unconnected with the foundation,upon which the administration was built ,in terms of competent and capable hands .

One of such men,who has proven undiluted competence and capability is the Honourable Commissioner, Manning the Oyo state Ministry of Trade, Investments Industry & Cooperatives,
“IJAIYA* as fondly called has demonstrated the justification of the reposed confidence, in clear pursuit of Governor Makinde’s roadmap on “Economic positive Turn-Around” of the pacesetter State.

In quick and radical style ,the Ministry of Trade Investments, Industry & Cooperatives has dished out brilliant packages ,to turn around the fortunes of trade and investments in Oyo state.

Following the successful launching of “ISE DOTUN”,just few hours ago is the coming of another package “EXPOYO 2024” THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR scheduled to begin ,precisely on 23rd of February,2024.

The justifiable excitement within the business environment iis the visionary resuscitation of what, ordinarily should be an Annual event, but albeit FAILED to hold since 2009,about 15 solid years in moribound stage.

Governor Makinde in his usual enigmatic style has given endorsement of the resuscitation with the Oyo State Council of Commerce, Industry,Mines and Agriculture (OYCCIMA).

As lucidly expoused during a press Conference by Hon Demola Ojo,the Commissioner in charge of the Ministry of Trade,the 2024 International Trade Fair will restore the key economic drive of the state .

Amongst the numerous gains of the EXPOYO is the captivation of the business enthusiasts and stakeholders.

The Nexus of commerce, Innovation and collaboration with government and stakeholders

Governor Seyi Makinde has accelerated the preparation with all necessary support and encouragement,as needed contacts have been made with captains of industries, manufacturers,exporters,micro, small and medium enterprises to interact and develop synergy for businesses to grow.

The intuition of the Ministry ahead in provision of sanitary facility, electricity and water 24hours through our the period of 2 weeks, that the EXPOYO Even is scheduled to last, speaks volumes about the looming success of the economic transformational design.

Grapevine sources hinted of the participation of International Brewery,
Guinesss,Nigerian Brewery NBL and others to showcase our rich culture and Tradition .

24 Hours Band Stand,Local Eatery Points and shops to experiment local food delicacies have been programmed to spice up the international Trade Fair.

Since the announcement of the EXPOYO, coming up 15 Years after it held last via a Press Conference addressed by IJAIYA himself ,the Government of Engineer Seyi Makinde has received global commendation for demonstrating yet another visionary design towards economic revamp and reposition of Oyo State.

The Revival is simply a further attestation of the composition of egg heads driving the Omi TUNTUN 2 0 Agenda ,just in continuation of pragmatic leadership’ the state has continued to witness since GSM mounted the saddle
