Former councillors in Ibarapa North Local Government Area have paid a solidarity visit to the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Lateef Akorede, to reaffirm their loyalty to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and his leadership.

The delegation, led by the former House Leader, Hon. Fatai Moshood Oladeni, described the visit as a show of unity, support, and commitment to the party’s ideals and the chairman’s inclusive leadership style.

During the visit, the former councillors expressed satisfaction with the administration of Hon. Akorede, noting that his leadership aligns with the progressive vision of the PDP at the grassroots level.

The group also sang songs of praise in honour of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, commending his people-oriented governance and developmental strides across the state.

In attendance were notable party stakeholders, including a PDP leader in the area, Mr. Babarinde Sarafa, and the Chief of Staff to the Council Chairman, Oloye Sunday Ogunjimi.

The ex-councillors collectively pledged their unalloyed support to the PDP, the leadership of Hon. Lateef Akorede, and Governor Seyi Makinde, assuring the party of their readiness to continue mobilising support at the grassroots to ensure sustained unity and success.
