Engr. Toheeb Adegoke has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident that claimed the lives of four National Guard personnel in Oyo State, describing their deaths as a painful loss to the state and the nation.

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families, loved ones, and colleagues of the fallen officers, noting that they paid the ultimate price in service to peace and public safety. He prayed for strength for their families in this difficult moment and for the peaceful repose of the souls of the departed.

In his reaction, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke emphasized the need for sustained commitment to the safety of security personnel and citizens across Oyo State and Nigeria at large. He also acknowledged the proactive leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, commending his foresight in strengthening the state’s security architecture, particularly the procurement of two surveillance aircraft.

According to him, the move reflects modern planning and a genuine concern for public safety, as it will enhance intelligence gathering and rapid response.

Engr. Toheeb Adegoke called for collective vigilance, urging residents to support security efforts by speaking up whenever suspicious activities are observed, while reaffirming hope for a safer and more secure Oyo State.
