Residents of Elebu community in Ibadan have expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for the successful rehabilitation of Elebu Road and BCJ Road, describing the intervention as timely and impactful.

Community leaders, traders, motorists, and residents noted that the once-dilapidated roads had caused years of hardship, including traffic congestion, damage to vehicles, and flooding during the rainy season.
With the completion of the repairs, they say movement has become smoother, businesses are thriving again, and safety has significantly improved.

Speaking on behalf of the residents, community representatives praised Governor Makinde’s people-centered leadership under the Omituntun agenda, emphasizing that the road projects demonstrate his administration’s commitment to grassroots development and infrastructure renewal.

“The fixing of Elebu and BCJ roads has brought relief to our people. It has reduced travel time, improved economic activities, and restored confidence in governance,” a resident said.
The residents urged the state government to sustain the momentum by extending similar infrastructure interventions to other neglected areas, while assuring Governor Makinde of their continued support and cooperation.
They concluded by thanking the governor for listening to the cries of the people and delivering on his promises, describing the road rehabilitation as a clear testament to responsive and accountable governance in Oyo State.
