The Chairman of the Oyo State Water Resources Commission, Mr. Elias Adeojo, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community across Oyo State on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a statement released on Friday, Adeojo congratulated Muslim faithful for their devotion, discipline, and spiritual renewal throughout the fasting period, describing the Ramadan season as one that embodies sacrifice, compassion, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah.
He urged the Islamic faithful to sustain the virtues of patience, humility, and generosity imbibed during Ramadan, emphasizing that these values are essential for fostering peace, unity, and progress in the society.

Adeojo also called on Muslims in the state to continue to pray for the success of the administration of Seyi Makinde, noting that the government remains committed to delivering good governance and improving the welfare of the people.


According to him, “As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I encourage our Muslim brothers and sisters to remain steadfast in their faith and continue to uphold the teachings of Islam. Let us also remember to pray for our dear state and the administration of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for wisdom, strength, and continued success in steering the affairs of Oyo State.”
He further expressed optimism that with sustained prayers and collective support, the state would continue to witness meaningful development across all sectors.

Adeojo concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration, urging them to celebrate responsibly and in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
