As Muslims across the globe celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the People’s Democratic Party South West Women’s Leader, Yeyeluwa Abosede Adedibu has extended her heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim community, calling for sustained unity, peace, and compassion.

In a statement released by the Adedibu Matriarch, Yeyeluwa Adedibu emphasized the significance of Eid Al-Fitr as a time of reflection, gratitude, and communal harmony.
She acknowledged the sacrifices made by Muslims during the month of Ramadan, praising their dedication to fasting, prayer, and charitable deeds.

“Eid Al-Fitr is a celebration of faith, perseverance, and the spirit of giving,” Yeyeluah Adedibu stated.

“It is a time to reflect on the lessons learned during Ramadan and to carry forward the values of compassion, empathy, and unity in our daily lives.”

She urged Muslims to continue fostering the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood, promoting peaceful coexistence and contributing to the development of their communities.
Furthermore, she called on all Nigerians, irrespective of their religious affiliations, to embrace peace and work together for the progress of the nation.
“Let us use this joyous occasion to strengthen the bonds of unity and promote peace in our society,” she said. “We must remember that our strength lies in our diversity, and we must strive to build a nation where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued.”
Yeyeluwa Adedibu also used the opportunity to pray for the success of Governor Seyi Makinde whereas the continued peace and prosperity in Oyo State and Nigeria at large. She wished all Muslims a joyous Eid Al-Fitr celebration, filled with blessings and happiness.
