Eid Al-Fitr : “Let’s Us Continue Values of Compassion, Empathy, and Self-discipline” – Ibadan South West Chairman, Honourable Kehinde Akande Felicitates Muslim Ummah
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Honourable Kehinde Adeyemi Akande has congratulated Muslims Ummah in his local government for the completion of Ramadan fast. Honourable Akande noted that “Eid Al-Fitr, also known as the Festival of Breaking the Fast, is a significant celebration for Muslims around the world”. He stated that Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting and spiritual reflection.
“Eid Al-Fitr holds great religious and cultural importance in the lives of Muslims. It is a time of gratitude, unity, and generosity. After a month of abstaining from food and drink from dawn to sunset, Muslims come together to celebrate the completion of their fasts and to express their gratitude to Allah for His blessings.
Hon Kehinde Akande recognizes the significance of Eid Al-Fitr in fostering unity and harmony within the community. He commends the Muslim Ummah in Ibadan South West for their commitment to observing Ramadan and for their dedication to their faith.
