Egbeda/Ona Ara Constituency Rep Akin Alabi Hails Egbeda LG Chairman Sikiru Sanda, Says Governance is About Personality, Not Party

The federal lawmaker representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Akin Alabi, has commended the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Oyedele Sanda, for his outstanding contributions to the development of the local government.

Alabi gave the commendation while delivering his remarks at an Islamic event organized by the League of Imams in Egbeda Local Government.

In his speech, the APC lawmaker praised Hon. Sanda for the remarkable strides recorded under his leadership since assuming office. He noted that despite belonging to different political parties, they share a long-standing relationship built on mutual respect and a commitment to the progress of the constituency.

Alabi stressed that governance in the present political climate transcends party lines, emphasizing that personality, competence, and performance matter more to the people. He referenced the outcome of the last general election, where voters supported the APC at the federal level while overwhelmingly electing the PDP at the state level, as proof that Nigerians are now prioritizing quality leadership over party affiliation.

He urged Chairman Sanda to sustain his good works and remain focused on delivering people-oriented governance that reflects the aspirations of Egbeda residents.
