Egbeda LG Chair’ Sanda Sikiru Leads Council Delegation, Pays Tribute to Late Lawmaker Akinremi Jagaban

Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, today received the body of the late federal lawmaker, Hon. Akinremi Olaide Jagaban, at the airport, ahead of his burial. The Chairman took the opportunity to commiserate with the family and constituents of the late lawmaker, describing his demise as a great loss to the state and the country.

Hon. Oyedele, who was party of the delegation of government officials to receive the body, praised the late lawmaker’s contributions to the development of Ibadan North local government and the nation at large. He recalled his tireless efforts in promoting the welfare of his constituents and his commitment to the growth of the party.

The Chairman’s tribute was echoed by other dignitaries present at the airport, including Otunba Seye Famojuro, hon. Seun Olufade, Hon. Sherrif Adeojo, hon. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, community leaders. They all described the late lawmaker as a dedicated public servant, who will be deeply missed.

The burial ceremony for Hon. Akinremi Olaide Jagaban is expected to take place today at his residence in ologuneru, with dignitaries from across the state and beyond expected to attend.
