_MOTTO: Hope for Education, Development & Progress_

The Federation of Ayete Students’ Union, under Comr. Muiz O. Kareem, has successfully organized the grand finale of the FASU Inter-Primary School Competition featuring a public lecture. The program, which aimed at fostering competitiveness and reviving primary education’s long-lost glory, was welcomed by intellectual minds and attended by men of status.
During the process of the competition, we had six schools that made it to the grand finale, well-seated, including Cherubim & Seraphim Basic School I, Ayete, Naslat N/P School, Ayete, Ansarudeen Basic School I, Ayete, Nomadic Basic School, Gaa Atẹẹrẹ, Ayete, Brain Builders Model N/P School, Ayete, and Goodnews N/P School, Ayete. Also, all participating schools in the preliminary stage were in attendance for the biggest show. The presentation of these schools in both the Debate and Quiz Competition proved that the teachers are on track and that we are improving at the primary education level.

In an astonishing moment, the event also featured a public lecture where we had Engr. Azeez Gbolagade, ably represented by the National President, Ayete Progressive Union, Hon. Kewulere Aliu Mukaram, deliver a lecture on the theme of the program, “Rising Stars: How Primary Education Shapes Tomorrow’s Leaders.” The lecture, at the end of it, left people with insights, new ideas, and shaped the audience’s orientation.

For the record, the Chairman of the Day, Hon. Lawal Lateef Adebare, in his show of magnanimity, brought forward yet again another impressive moment that brought smiles to the faces of different schools. In his conviction that makes him ready for any kind of educational program, Akorede has demonstrated genuine investment in the academic development of our young ones and, of course, our future. The Executive Chairman, Ibarapa North Local Government Area, Hon. Akorede, would always respond to us whenever we table issues with him that, “When you invest in education, we invest in the future and we secure the future of our community.” In that manner, he provided a huge reward of three laptops for the Winner, First Runner-up, and Second Runner-up, respectively, including writing materials.
However, he also extended the generosity that no school that participated in the contest, both at the preliminary and final stages, went back without receiving any reward. He rewarded the thirteen (13) schools that participated in the competition.
While we are extending our heartfelt gratitude to him and his team for the spirit of development instilled in them, we want to acknowledge the handsome contributions from various platforms, including the Ayete Progressive Union, Ayete Professionals Forum, and other individuals who greatly contributed to the success. The single contribution, presence, and every other move to support this program were well acknowledged, and we pray that may God Almighty continue to bless them.

After the tense, fierce competition, Cherubim & Seraphim Basic School I, Ayete, emerged as the Winner of the 2025 FASU Inter-Primary School Competition, followed by Goodnews N/P School, Ayete, as First Runner-up and Brain Builders Model N/P School as Second Runner-up. Nomadic Basic School, Gaa Atẹẹrẹ, Ayete, Naslat N/P School, Ayete, and Ansarudeen Basic School I, Ayete, came fourth, fifth, and sixth respectively.
While we, once again, make our staunch commitment to education known, in the same spirit, we appreciate the Executive Chairman, IBNLG, and other stakeholders present, among whom are Alhaji Oladele W.A., Prince Bola Olalere, Dn. Ojekunle, Hon. Kewulere, Hon. Simisolu, and others for their show of love for education.
Remember, FASU will always make Academics a priority.
THE FURTHERANCE.
