Education Takes the Front Seat in Lagelu: A Heartfelt Appreciation to Governor Makinde and Hon. Kamorudeen for Investing in Our Pupils’ Future

I wish to sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, for his outstanding performance and continuous investment in the educational sector across the state.

Your visionary leadership has brought remarkable transformation to education, and we are proud beneficiaries of your good governance.

A special appreciation also goes to the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru Morenikeji, for his laudable initiative of distributing 50,000 notebooks and school bags to all primary schools across Lagelu Local Government an unprecedented gesture that has reached every ward, including Ward 5.

As the Honourable Councillor representing Ward 5 and the Leader of the Lagelu Legislative Arm, I say a very big thank you for entrusting this noble exercise to all the 14 councillors to ensure fair and effective distribution across our various wards.

The parents, teachers, pupils, school boards, and heads of primary schools in Ward 5 deeply appreciate this thoughtful gesture. It truly stands as a first in the history of our local government, and it has made a significant impact on our educational system.
