An African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, Oloye Adegboyega Toafeek Adegoke, Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, has felicitated with Christians on the celebration of Easter, calling for renewed commitment to prayers and unity as pathways to sustainable economic growth.
In his Easter message, Adegoke described the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a powerful reminder of hope, sacrifice, and victory over adversity, urging Christians to reflect these virtues in their daily lives.
“Easter is a season that teaches us resilience, love, and selflessness. These values are essential if we must collectively rebuild and strengthen our society,” he said.
The gubernatorial hopeful charged residents of Oyo State to take advantage of the spiritual significance of the season to seek divine intervention for the state’s economic prosperity, peace, and stability.
He noted that genuine development can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity and shared responsibility, stressing that citizens must remain committed to supporting initiatives that drive growth and improve livelihoods.
