Adeyanju has repeatedly accused Obi of fraud and even claimed that during the 2023 election campaign, Obi attempted to bribe him with a brown envelope—an offer he said he rejected.

But Charly Boy, in a post shared on , dismissed the claims as baseless and shameful, describing Adeyanju as someone willing to sell himself for “30 pieces of silver.” He accused the activist of working to please his “paymasters” and vowed not to allow Obi’s name to be dragged through the mud.

Writing in Pidgin, Charly Boy said:

“Deji Adeyanju, na wa for you o! You don carry ya mouth go where e no belong. Na so so lie and yeye talk you dey yarn about Peter Obi, just to trend and please your paymasters. Shame no dey catch you?

Obi na man wey still get conscience for this obodo wey don spoil finish. Na him dey give millions of Nigerians hope say better Nigeria fit still happen. But you wey suppose dey fight for truth, don reduce yourself to errand boy for chop-money politics.

You talk say Obi wan bribe you? Abeg park well! If dem dey find who dey sell himself for 30 pieces of silver, na you be the perfect example.
