Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS Swears in Hon. Ajao Musa Bolaji as Supervisory Councilor in Ona Ara LG

The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, has formally sworn in Hon. Ajao Musa Bolaji as Supervisory Councilor, further strengthening the administrative structure of the local government and reaffirming his commitment to accountable and responsive grassroots governance.

The oath-taking ceremony, held at the Local Government Annex, was attended by party leaders, political stakeholders, management staff, and supporters who gathered to witness the official induction of the new appointee.

Hon. Ajao Musa Bolaji assumes office following the passing of the former Supervisory Councilor representing Ward 7, Hon. Olawale. His appointment underscores the Chairman’s resolve to ensure continuity in leadership, uphold stability within the council, and sustain effective service delivery to the people of Ona Ara.

While administering the oath of office, Dr. Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS charged the newly sworn-in supervisory councilor to carry out his responsibilities with integrity, diligence, and a strong sense of accountability. He emphasized that the present administration remains focused on people-oriented policies and developmental initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and socio-economic advancement of residents.

The Chairman reiterated that the Supervisory Council plays a vital role in policy implementation, departmental oversight, and community engagement, urging Hon. Ajao Musa Bolaji to align fully with the administration’s vision and contribute meaningfully to the council’s developmental agenda.

Also speaking at the ceremony, the Financial Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Hon. Mufutau Olatunde Ogunremi, congratulated the new Supervisory Councilor and advised him to remain accountable to the Executive Chairman as the leader of the local government. He further encouraged him to stay focused and committed to strengthening the party’s structure and advancing its growth at the grassroots level.

Hon. Ogunremi stressed that loyalty, discipline, and transparency are indispensable values that will enhance effective governance and consolidate unity within the party.

The swearing-in ceremony marks another strategic step in reinforcing governance mechanisms and advancing sustainable development in Ona Ara Local Government.
