Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS Commissions Community-Funded Transformer in Anuoluwa Estate, Ona Ara

On Friday 25th April, 2025, The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, on Thursday, officially commissioned a self-financed transformer installed by the Anuoluwa Estate community, located in the Amuloko area of Ibadan.

This development was disclosed in a statement signed by the Chairman’s Press Secretary, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, and made available to journalists in Ibadan.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS commended the initiative, resilience, and commitment of the Anuoluwa Estate residents, led by the Community Chairman, Mr. Mustapha Oyewole, for spearheading the vital electrification project. He assured the community that the Ona Ara Local Government would continue to provide necessary support and intervention to accelerate development across the area.

In recognition of his outstanding leadership and support, Mr. Mustapha Oyewole, on behalf of the Anuoluwa Estate community, presented an Award of Excellence to Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS.

Dr. GLORIOUS was accompanied at the event by key officials, including the Councillor representing Ward 5, Hon. Atoba Olagunju; the Chief of Staff, Hon. Isiaka Arinola; the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Babatunde Sunmoni, among others.

The project marks another milestone in the collective effort to enhance infrastructure and improve the living conditions within Ona Ara Local Government.
