Chairman Oyo state Hospital Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, has promised to continue partnering with individuals and groups ready to collaborate with the government to deliver sustainable healthcare to the people of the state.
The chairman made the promise while commissioning a water borehole project donated by Cronies Club of Ibadan on Saturday to Oni & Sons Children Memorial Hospital, for sustainable healthcare delivery to the people of the state.
Speaking to newsmen, Chairman Oyo state hospital management board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, commended Governor Makinde for his open-door policy adopted to deliver sustainable healthcare and democracy dividends to the people of the state.
The chairman appreciated Cronies Club’s gesture, urging well-to-do Nigerians to support government institutions nationwide, stressing that such contributions facilitate achieving the present administration’s goals.
He explained that government can’t do it alone but needs well-to-do individuals to complement its efforts by emulating Cronies Club of Ibadan to help humanity.
In his remarks, Chief Cronies, who is also the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, said the borehole is part of Cronies Club’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
Chief Adegboyega said he has long embraced giving back to society, urging every Nigerian to have the same mindset.
