Dr Fagbemi paid courtesy visit on the Acting governor of Oyo state,Barrister Bayo Lawal.

The chairman of Oyo State Hospital Management Board(OYSHMB),Dr Akin Fagbemi was today paid an official visit to the Acting governor of Oyo State Barrister Adebayo Lawal in his office Secretariat Ibadan to brief him on the assessment of tvarious health facilities in the state.

Barrister Bayo Lawal in his words, appreciated Dr Fagbemi in his efforts so far in moving the health care forward and in delivering sustainable health care system to the people of Oyo state through the agenda of his excellency Engr Oluseyi Makinde tagged “Omi-Tuntun 2.0.

Dr Fagbemi in his response thanked the Acting governor,Barrister Bayo Lawal for his support in delivering dividend of democracy to the people of the state.He therefore enumerated some of the issues been confronted by some of the health facilities in the state.

The chairman spoke about infrastructural development in our health facilities that needs to be upgraded just as the govt did in some of the Primary Health Care across the state.

The issue of accreditation of health facilities in the state was also mentioned by the chairman where he want the state govt to push for the accreditation of the health facilities for the internship student from our higher institution of learning in the state and Nigeria as a whole.

He stressed further that the Secondary Health Care need some touches just as the state govt did to the Primary Health Care in the state.

He therefore use the medium to invite the Acting governor probably to move round the state hospital like Adeoyo Maternity Hospital and Ring Road Hospital for assessment on some of the facilities.

In the entourage with the chairman of the board Dr Akin Fagbemi is the director of hospital administrations in the state Mr Stephen Olatunde.
