… As General Hospital, Moniya, Receives Ultra Sound, Electro Cardiogram Machines

The chairman of Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, embarked on an official visit to General Hospital, Moniya, in Akinyele Local Government Area for inspection and commissioning of hospital equipment.

The equipment, including an Ultra Sound Machine and Electro Cardiogram Machine, was donated by Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA) under the leadership of its Executive Secretary, Pastor Akande.

In his address, The Chairman Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Fagbemi commended the hospital staff for their prompt action and dedication to patients, despite attending to a large number of patients.

In a display of kindness, Dr. Fagbemi donated ₦20,000 for the treatment of a sick boy in need of blood and ₦10,000 each to six newborn babies in the children’s ward.

During the visit, Dr. Fagbemi inspected various departments, including Male and Female wards, Physiotherapy, Laboratory, Theatre, Labour Room, Ante-natal ward, and Dental department.

Accompanying Dr. Fagbemi on the visit were top officials, including Permanent Secretary Dr. Anifat Ibraheem, Director of Medical Services Dr. Femi Adesanya, and other directors.

The visit underscores the commitment of Oyo State’s leadership to improving healthcare services, aligning with Governor Oluseyi Makinde’s vision for quality healthcare accessibility.
